Old Greek House

Originally constructed in the 1800s and first owned by a Greek artist named Yorha Vasil, the Old Greek House later became the "Asmalı Konak" that viewers from Turkey and the Middle East know from the TV series of the same name. The mansion was sold to the Öztürk family in 1938 and in 1992 was converted into one of Cappadocia's best-loved restaurants. However, it reached the peak of its popularity after being chosen as the setting for the popular Turkish TV series "Asmalı Konak". This two-storied mansion offers visitors three different dining areas. Possessed of a timeless beauty, this mansion is the perfect place to sample the unique flavors of Cappadocia.
